After making a promising debut with a nativity and romantic comedy 'Kazhugu' with Kresha and
Bindu Madhavi
, the director Sathya Siva is unable to create a right impact with his next two films “Savaale Samali” and “
Sivappu
”.
Now the director teams up with Jiiva, by keeping veteran Jeya Mohan aside for dialogues for the period drama which happens around 1940's. The movie is said to be a love story in the war backdrop. It should be noted that Kollywood is filling up a couple of straight and dubbed periodical dramas namely Raja Mouli's “Baahubali”, Ilayathalapathy Vijay's “
Puli
” and Anushka's “
Rudramadevi
” in recent times.
While Jiiva has completed his part in “
Thirunaal
”, “
Kavalai Vendam
” and “
Pokkiri Raja
” is nearing its completion. Meanwhile, Sathya Siva is busy with the final touches in the script and it is said that the shooting is to commence very soon. A New Producer is said to be funding this project.
