Edappadi Palaniswami Removed The Red Beacon From His Car!

Following the request of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the TN Chief Minister, “Edappadi K Palaniswami” removed the red beacon from his official vehicle. All the Ministers in his cabinet will remove it soon, said Edappadi. The CM has plans to meet the PM on Sunday, to discuss the farmers’ requisition. Meanwhile, the Red Beacon removal is the idea of the Modi-led BJP. It is stated that the President, Vice President and the Chief Justice need not remove the beacon from their vehicles. Arun Jaitley informed that the Fire Brigade, Police Vehicles and Ambulances should use the blue beacon and the red beacon is only for President, VP and Chief Justice. From 1st May, the red beacon from all the vehicles used by the ministers and the Prime Minister will be removed, said Nitin Katkari.
