CV Kumar Speaks About Mayavan!

“Mayavan” is the upcoming film by Sundeep Kishan, the Tollywood cum Kollywood hero. The film marks as a debut directorial venture of the popular producer “C V Kumar,” who produced the hit films like “Attakathi,” Soodhu Kavvum, “Pizza,” “Iraivi” and some more. Kumar scripted the film with Nalan Kumarsamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame. Mayavan is touted to be an investigative thriller. Sundeep plays a cop named Kumaran. The film deals with a murder mystery by a serial killer. Sundeep will not play a super cop, but will be seen as a real-life cop, says Kumar. Lavanya Tripathi shares the screen space with Sundeep as a psychiatrist. Jackie Shroff, the Bollywood star who previously appeared in Aaranya Kandam, plays a gangster in Mayavan. With an idea to do the business in Telugu too, the producer turned director, zeroed Sundeep and Lavanya. Kumar has already sold out the Telugu rights for a decent price. It is not a bilingual, but will be dubbed in Telugu and released along with the Tamil version.
