Cinema Theaters Shut For The Third Day In Tamilnadu!

Following the GST And Entertainment tax, the Theater Owners’ Association decided to go for an indefinite strike. As a result, the theaters have been shut for the past three days and many films lost their collection at the box office. Nearly Rs. 20 Crores of income are being lost per day, as the theaters are shut. The first round talk with the government is failed and the Producers’ Council President, Vishal Reddy and Tamilnadu Film Chamber of Commerce President, Abirami Ramanathan said that they stay positive with a hope that the government will remove the Entertainment Tax. If the problem is not solved by today, then the release of the films will be delayed. It is also stated that the theaters would continue their strike further.
