, the actor turned politician had been campaigning for the upcoming by-elections. While rallying in Aravakurichi, he said that the first Indian Terrorist is a Hindu and his name is Nathuram Ghodse. This created a huge controversy. Many people condemned his speech and oppositions strengthened against the actor. Following this, a couple of his meetings are canceled.
Meanwhile, Hindu Sena filed a case against Kamal Haasan in Delhi High Court. Tamilnadu Muslim League leader VM Mustafa complained against Kamal in Election Commission stating that he has been trying to create enmity between the Hindus and Muslims.
