Atlee Is Not Responsible For This – Sathyaraj

“Sathyaraj,” the yesteryear hero and the present day character artist, earned appreciation from the cinema buffs, nationwide for his role in “Baahubali.” His majestic Kattappa role reached the audiences well. But, it was shocking to see Sathyaraj doing a small role in “Mersal” with “Vijay.” In a recent interview, Sathyaraj was asked about this and the actor said that he had a good role in the film. But, his scenes were cut and Sathyaraj’s role appeared to be a guest role. He said that Atlee Kumar, the director had to cut his role, but he didn’t do it purposely. We have to appreciate Sathyaraj for backing up Atlee. If this had been done to some other actors, they would have started throwing tantrums against the director. Sathyaraj has signed doing a film titled “NOTA” directed by Anand Shankar. The film will have Telugu hero Vijay Deverakonda as the male lead. Mehrene Kaur Pirzada plays the female lead.
