Director “J Mahendran,” who made classic films including Uthiri Pookkal, Mullum Malarum and Johnny breathed his last today at his residence. Mahendran, who was last seen performing in the films “Petta” with Superstar “Rajinikanth” and “Boomerang” with “Atharvaa,” had been admitted to the hospital for the past few days due to some age-related health issues. He died today at his residence. Mahendran survived with a wife Jasmine and three kids, John Roshan, Dimple Preetham and Anu Rita Preetham.
