A Celebrity Joins Jyothika’s Next!

Jyothika has been very choosy in her second innings. She made her re-entry with “36 Vayadhinile,” which is the remake of Malayalam film How Old Are You by Manju Warrier. After the hit film, “Naachiyaar” directed by “Bala,” Jyothika has been playing in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by Mani Ratnam. The film has Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, “Silambarasan,” Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana in the cast along with Jyothika. Following this film, Jyothika will work in the remake of Tumhari Sulu, the Bollywood hit. The remake will be directed by Radha Mohan of “Mozhi” fame. Jyothika replaces Vidya Balan in this flick. Lakshmi Manchu, the daughter of Telugu actor Mohan Babu, joins Jyothika in this flick. Lakshmi has played in Telugu and English films. She had also appeared in “Kadal” directed by Mani Ratnam. In Jyothika’s flick, Lakshmi Manchu would be seen as the FM channel’s director.
