Rima Kallingal
is among the few actresses in the South who choose different roles irrespective of their image. After her outing with
Manju Warrier
in “
Rani Padmini
,” she has been committed doing a film under the direction of Dr. Biju. She plays a Maoist suspect in this film. The film is titled as “Kaadu Pookunna Neram,” which has Maoist issues.
Indrajith Sukumaran
plays the lead role along with Rima. He plays a cop in this film. Rima, a mysterious lady, lives in the forest and hence she is suspected to be a Maoist. “Kaadu Pookunna Neram” will be entirely different from that of Biju’s previous projects, “
Perariyathavar
” and “
Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal
.” Biju says that there are commercial elements inserted in “Kaadu Pookunna Neram,” unlike his other two recent releases. Besides Rima and Indrajith, the film has “
Indrans
,”
Prakash Bare
and “
Irshad
” in supporting roles. Now, the film is in its post-production stage and is gearing up for the release.
