Plot
Aalparambil Gopi and Malghosh are close pals. Gopi’s mother is the sole breadwinner of his family. Gopi is in love with Krishna. They all live in Kerala’s Mullakara. Gopi and Malghosh’s main work is to campaign for a political party and to play cricket. Most of the time, they both end up in misadventures. During an India- Pakistan cricket match, India lost the match to Pakistan and a few kids in their village fired crackers. This made the people wrongly assume that they supported Pakistan, leading to a communal clash that put Gopi and Malghosh in legal trouble. Soon, they flee their village and end up on a camel farm in the UAE. They had to work under a Pakistani, who is a cricket enthusiast. Did Gopi and Malghosh end up fighting with their superior, a Pakistani? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Nivin Pauly fits well in the character. His emotional and comical performances are good. Dhyan’s chemistry with Nivin worked out well. Anaswara has nothing significant to do. Deepak Jethi has a few good performing scenes.
Analysis
Though the film has Nivin and Dhyan, only if the story had been spun well, it would have impressed the audience. The screenplay lacks depth and a sudden shift to UAE makes the audience feel that they are taken to the ‘Aadujeevitham’ set. Anaswara is not seen after a few scenes. A few scenes in the village are good and a couple of scenes with Deepak Jethi and Nivin in the UAE are interesting and heart-warming too. The film also deals with communal hatred and politics. Certain scenes make the audience feel that the film is dragged and many look at the exit gates. The music and cinematography are okay, but the editing should have been crisper.

Verdict
Even though the film has some comedy scenes and emotional scenes, it is not so touching. If you are a fan of Nivin and love to see his performances, you can watch the movie once. Go without much expectation!
