Priyadarshan Speaks On Mohanlal Winning The Special Jury Award

Malayalam Actress Surabhi Lakshmi was given the award for the best actress for her performance in Minnaminungu. The special jury award for Mohanlal arrived as a surprise to everybody. Talking to the press whilst announcing the winner, Priyadarshan, the jury chairman explained why Mohanlal was presented the award.

He also further said that only Malayalam movies from South Indian movie field proved to be a tight competition to the Bengali and Marathi movies.
