A Japanese classic was remade into a Malayalam film. It was subsequently remade into Telugu and Tamil, before gaining national recognition through the Hindi remake. Now Drishyam shall be remade in Hollywood too!
As per recent reports, Panorama Studios, who is already collaborating with the original makers for the third installment of the series, has had a word with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films. If everything goes right, Drishyam will be remade in Hollywood.

A sequel to the franchise will come in 2021, followed by its Hindi adaptation in 2022. Both became instant blockbusters and according to some sources, Aashirwad Cinemas [makers of the original] and Panorama Studios are actively collaborating for the third installment, in their respective languages.
