“Classmates” Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary!

“Classmates” starred by Prithviraj Sukumaran, “Jayasurya,” Indrajith Sukumaran, Balachandra Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar, “Radhika,” Kavya Madhavan and “Narain” released ten years ago. Lal Jose, the director of the super hit film, has gone nostalgic when speaking about the film. Lal Jose said that till the same stars are there, the admirers wouldn’t diminish. He also said that each and every college student could relate them to the film and that is the main reason for the film’s success. The director also says that he didn’t even dream that the film would become a huge hit. Following the success of Classmates, the film was remade in Tamil as Ninaithale Inikkum with Prithviraj, Sakthi Vasudevan, “K Bhagyaraj,” Karthik Kumar, Anuja Iyer, “Jeeva” and “Priyamani.” Like the Malayalam version, the Tamil film directed by “G N R Kumaravelan” was also a hit.
