The superstar said that, in every aspect, south film industry plays a pivotal role in Indian film industry. In fact, he added that it is superior to Bollywood. He also pointed out that Hindi films had its inception only in Chennai. This statement was made by Shiva Rajkumar during IIFA Utsavam’s first edition.

This event, which is taking place for a couple of days, is honoring expertise from the southern film industry. It is to be noted that the International Indian Film Academy is making its foray in the southern region through Utsavam. IIFA was started 16 years ago.

Shiva Rajkumar added that though the IIFA is entering the Southern market for a long time, he is happy that they are receiving some exclusivity.
