She has been directing her daughters, Vaibhavi, Vaisri and Vainidhi in the film. The entire cast in the film is Kannadigas. The director has chosen three boys to play the lead along with her daughters. She auditioned for the lead role and selected three youngsters, Sumukha, Abhishek and Chakravarthy. She is happy that all the three heroes had fit in the roles as she had planned for them. The director is proud of her selection and says that she needn’t teach them to act and emotions flow out from them automatically when she explain the situation. The story of Yaanaa is about six youngsters, who are setting up a journey. The director says that the film is full of fun and joy and it will definitely be a treat to the youth.
