Vaibhavi, Vaisiri and Vainidhi, the daughters of Vijayalakshmi are making their acting debut in Yaana. Vijayalakshmi didn't have ideas to introduce her daughters in this film, while writing the script. After completing the script, she had been searching for the stars who fit the characters perfectly. To make her daughters do these roles, she took a year, said Vijayalakshmi.

Vijayalakshmi is a proud mother as her daughters worked in this film dedicatedly. She said that they would continue doing movies after Yaana.
