will be releasing on the 20th of May. The film will be only the director’s second venture after Lucia, which was one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2013. The director also states that the movie will have a premier show at the New York Film Festival on May 8 which is very humbling and overwhelming for him as a director who is just one film old.
He feels honored that U-turn is getting an opportunity to be a part of an International Film Festival: in the 75 years of Kannada Cinema, very few films, including Lucia, have reached this high. The director hopes that U-turn receives a positive response from the audience, just like his debut film.
He says that the film was completed, right from the ideation stage to its release, in a span of ten months. The film stars
