The actor was traveling with his executive producer for a meeting, when his car rammed into a divider and overturned. While his producer suffered no major injuries, KiranRaj was seriously injured. He was admitted into a private hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

KiranRaj had recently wrapped up shooting for a film called Rani, when this incident happened.
