They met the commercial tax commissioner Rithvik Ranjanam Pandey and requested him to suggest the theaters not to increase the ticket cost above Rs. 200. Earlier, this Monday, Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, announced that a notification regarding the ticket price would be released in two days. He stated that the maximum ticket limit is Rs. 200. Recently, we have heard that many theaters and online ticket vendors had sold the tickets at a high price. If the tickets are priced high, the public will not visit the theaters and hence the KFCC fights for a nominal pricing.
