Banita Sandu was born in the year 1988 and was brought up in South Wales, Britain. Since young, she started acting on a local stage. Her ambition towards acting kicked off quite young, when she was 11 and signed for her first agency for the entertainment program. She was grown up watching a Bollywood movie, that is what drew her closer to working in the Indian industry. At 18, when she was doing her higher education at King’s College, London got a lead in Bollywood movie named October starring
After which she got good recognition in the Indian film industry and was also featured in Vogue as 2018 “Face to look out for”. Being brought up in Caerleon, she is fluent in Spanish, and being a Punjabi descent, her Hindi is also quite fluent. Before working in a Shoorjit Sircar’s movie, she appeared in Chewing ad with a song “Ek ajnabee Haseena Se”.
Her later appearance in movies and series were Athiya Varma and Eternal Beauty, which was in Tamil and English language, respectively. She also worked in an American TV series named Pandora. Her upcoming movies are “Sardar Udham Singh” whose co-actor is
and “Kavita and Teresa”, both of which will be releasing in 2020.
