Jyothika To Sign More Hindi Projects

Jyothika is set to return to Hindi films through the Vikas Bahl Vikas Bahl (Born 1971) is an Indian film producer, >> Read More... directorial 'Shaitaan,' the official adaptation of the Gujarati film 'Vash.' However, if reports are confirmed, Jyothika is all set for a full-fledged adventure into the vast domain of Bollywood. As per various media reports, Jyothika is all set to mark her presence in Hindi cinema, with multiple projects in line. 
Not many know that before making her mark in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Jyothika had made her feature film debut through Bollywood. In 1998, she starred in 'Doli Sajaa ke Rakhna', a romantic drama directed by Priyadarshan. Her co-star was none other than famous star Akshaye Khanna. 

Almost 25 years later, Jyothika decided to return to Hindi cinema through 'Sri', a biographical drama on visually impaired entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla, starring Rajkummar Rao Raj Kumar Yadav, also known as Rajkummar Rao, star >> Read More... in the titular role. The film would have initially released in September 2023. However, multiple delays forced it forward to 2024, making 'Shaitaan' her official comeback. 

Apart from 'Shaitaan' and 'Sri', Jyothika is also set to make her digital debut in Hindi through a web series on Netflix.
