Top 10 Movies You’ll Fall Off The Chair Laughing

Top 10 Movies You’ll Fall Off The Chair Laughing Hindi Article

After a long and stressful day at work, all you need is a good comedy to laugh through the night. Bollywood has made such movies that even hours after watching it, you’ll laugh just thinking about a particular scene in it. As difficult as it is to compare and select just ten movies out of those, here’s a list made just for you guys:

1. Andaz Apna Apna

This has so many funny characters, whether it is Amar Prem, Bajaj, Teja or Gogo. Each scene being funnier than the previous one, this movie is one of the best hindi comedy movies of all time. Since it was far ahead of its time and is among the fewest comedy movies which are clean and are perfect for family entertainment and are yet so funny in each scene and dialogues, that they are remembered and spoken of even today and will be forever. The chemistry between the two lead actors is what makes this movie so special.

2. Gol Maal (1979)

This will be an unforgettable experience. Keep tissues with you, because you’ll be laughing so hard that you end up crying. The supreme joy of Golmaal is that it echoes with everyday experiences in its comedy of errors. Being light, smart and out-and-out funny. Golmaal is a story of clever people improvising their way through a thoroughly ridiculous series of deceptions.

3. Singh is Kinng

This is one movie of Akshay Kumar you will enjoy even if you’re not his fan. It’s hilarious. Although you should not expect to see sense in whatever is going on, you will find it amusing for sure. It is a true example of how you pack an ordinary idea with a lot of no-logic but extremely funny humor. Jazz it up with some very peppy numbers, putting a big tag of superstar and wrapping it up with oodles of hype!

4. Bol Bachchan

“When elders get cozy, Youngers don’t put nosey” (Jab bade baat kar rahe hai, tab bachche tokah nahin karte)! Ajay Devgan’s English has to tickle your funny bone. Devgan's role in Bol Bachchan is that of a wrestler who wants to master the English language and staggers through mindlessly absurd phrases in the film to prove his point. His comic timing is impeccable and he commands guffaws in several scenes, but he's handed jokes that have been brought out of the freezer, thawed to room temperature and served to an audience hungry for gags.

5. Lage Raho Munna Bhai

This movie will have you laughing so hard, that you will have to pause and laugh it off, so that you don’t miss the next scene. A decent and hilarious comedy throughout, you can watch this movie with family and realize the superb comedy that can be created even without vulgarity. Cinematography is excellent and songs are perfect for the given situations.

6. Pushpak

This is a hilarious silent comedy played wonderfully by Kamal Haasan. His acting and his portrayal of the character will have you laughing for sure. Comedy is all about timing. You don’t need to speak to be comical. Charlie Chaplin has shown his impeccable skills and Kamal Haasan being another example in this hilarious movie.

7. De Dana Dan

This is one nutty movie that will have you laughing for no reason whatsoever. It is hilarious, no doubt, but it doesn’t have a story at all. Which is why it is a one-time watch, but you’ll definitely enjoy it that one time. Each scene is wackier than the previous one, and you’ll be in splits by the end of it.

8. Ishq

This is yet another movie you need tissues, for it’s so funny that you end up crying. Aamir Khan’s charm, Juhi’s bubbliness, Kajol’s laughter and Ajay Devgan’s acting will be terribly amusing. The chemistry between the characters is perfect. Their expressions are perfect. Hands down, this is one hysterically funny movie.

9. Chennai Express

Deepika’s accent and Shah Rukh’s reaction to everything around him makes the movie totally worth watching. The Tamil dialogues are humorous even for people who can’t understand the language. Deepika’s accent is so cute and Shah Rukh’s hilarious expressions and comedy timings are something that every actor should have.

10. Chachi 420

Kamal Haasan totally killed it in this movie. Switching between Jai and Chachi, he ensured us falling off our chair. His mannerisms as Chachi were fabulous. He is such a versatile actor who could carry out the role of an older lady with aplomb. The film starts off well but actually kick starts when Kamal Haasan acts like Chachi. The film has several hilarious scenes, like the entire revelation of the servant, Om Puri's lines, the escapades by Kamal Haasan and the utter confusion throughout the film. It keeps you fully entertained till the climax.
