Mayur Puri was born on 28th May, 1974 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is a professional storyteller, lyricist, actor and a filmmaker who has been working in the film industry for over a decade. His early life was spent mostly in Gujarat, where he tookmost of his education. He has anM.A degree from University School Of Languages and F.Y. Diploma In Dramatics from the Drama Department of Gujarat College and he even topped the University. Though he was always good at writing since his childhood days, he never thought of being a writer. He spent his early life directing and writing for local television and theatre for almost eight long years.
After gaining an experience of eight years he moved to Mumbai for a better career.
