The main reason it flopped at the box office was because of the absence of some superstar. The Indian audience’s concern is the actor and not the story! Though its sequel ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama 2’ is a big hit, it could not spread its charm. It should be released again.

5. Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year

Ranbir Kapoor for the first time played the character of a Sikh man, but this reason could not stop this film to flop at the box office. It is a story of a young salesman, who faces many obstacles in his career but finally opens his own company. I think the audience is not mature enough for such content.

6. Dil Se

It tanked at the box office, in spite of the fact that Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan were its main leads. It shows the issue of love and terrorism, which the audience did not approve of.

I could not find any reason why it tanked at the box office. It had everything, the superstars, the good story, and the perfect locations. Some things always remain unknown; I think it goes with this movie too.
