Bollywood is a magical place filled with colours, songs, and loads of drama. We often come across many movies with same plots and themes. Bollywood is one of the industries which produce cinema in a vast number. Here is a list of ten things that almost every Bollywood movie consists.

1. Cool Cat Parents

Either the protagonist or the love interest or both attain awesome guardians who are broad minded enough but still can make a lecture and give their kids a scolding when required. Once in a while, we wish our parents were as understanding.

2. One Plus One = Two

Almost every recent film in Bollywood consists of two actors or actresses or maybe two actors and actresses or more. Multi star casting has seemed to pick up a pace and gained popularity. We sure do enjoy the cast mix and match; we never know when a new off-screen pair may form.

3. Identity Crisis

The protagonist in a midway or at the beginning realises he doesn’t know himself as much as he thought he did. He then embarks on a journey of self-doubt and self-exploration to calm him and make peace. He then finally marries and ends up with the love of his life.

4. Catchy Item Songs

We won’t be surprised if a 4-year-old sings the lyrics to Sheila ki jawani song. Cause hey who cares about lyrics, let’s just get along in the flow and groove to the beat.

5. Liplocks, Sex, And Bikinis

The part of the movie which westernises the whole scenario of the movie. The cinema is incomplete without at least one liplock, and definitely one beach scene with the lead actress in a bikini.

6. Celebrations

At some point in the movie we celebrate an event, it may be traditional custom functions, anniversaries or festival itself. The story is incomplete without one such random celebration where everyone just dances and sings their heart out.

7. Chart-topping Sad Songs

Arjith Singh is everywhere, on the radio; the playlists might as well be in the air. Every hit movie soundtrack shall contain one sad song which happens to be sung by this nightingale. The song plays on a loop until a new sorrowful song comes along and we start playing that on a loop.

8. Relationship Complications

The lead pair in the movie after a certain period of runtime into the story decide that things are not working out the way they plan and decide to break-up or take a break. After a definite period, the hero either finds a new love interest or gets back to her.

9. Foreign Locations

Most of the movies have few parts of the movie in the least in lavish foreign locations.

10. The Messengers

There are always common friends or people between the leads involved in the drama in order to act as messengers or helpers in time of need. Their screen time is very less compared to the main roles yet play an important role.
