They have an idea that the movie is about defaming the Punjab state. The movie had to face quite protests, but the state government stood by it.
2. Padmaavat
This is the movie which made a huge stir in the wind of India. The political parties associated with religion were more worried about the movie. The Karni Sena who was the main party in the protest said that the movie displayed some inappropriate content which defame the Rajput community.
3. Manikarnika
This movie of who is starring as Rani Laxmi Bai is also facing protests on illogical issues. The Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha acknowledged the press that the makers had depicted the character of Rani Laxmi Bai in a disrespectful way. They have baseless arguments as they haven’t even seen the movie yet.

7. Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie had to see protest because the communities didn’t like it. The title was initially Ramleela, but the Hindu community was not happy, so it was changed to Ram-Leela. Also, the Kshatriya community was unhappy regarding the castes used, so they were changed to Saneda and Rajadi.

The protest of this movie had nothing related to the content of the movie. The movie was released after the Uri attack which enraged the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena to ban the Pakistani artist and the movie was starring Fawad Khan.
