As NSD alumnus, Lalit Mohan Tiwari feels that the present crop of NSD students has been just interested ‘to get a diploma and run to Mumbai’. He is also not very much keen to work in regional films as he feels that unless an actor is well versed with the language, acting would appear too mechanical and might not justify even.

As a versatile actor, he did not mind doing any kind of roles that came in his hands. He had a feeling that as long as one is doing good work, it does not matter what if one plays in cinema or even in theater too.
