Top 10 Indian Movies With The Worst Vfx English Article

Indian movies haven’t done very well in terms of VFX use as compared to Hollywood. Every time the makers try to attract more attention, they usually fail. While some movies, such as the larger-than-life historical drama Baahubali, made our jaws drop with their great VFX, many others made people laugh. While most recently, Brahmastra did an exceptional job in terms of VFX, let’s look at some of the Indian movies with the worst VFX.

1. Kalank (2019)

While Kalank received generally negative reviews and flopped at the box office, the movie’s worst aspect is its CGI. Varun Dhawan Varun Dhawan, a new comer entered Bollywood with h >> Read More... ’s bullfight scene in the movie left everyone in splits. With a budget of Rs 150 crores, they could surely have done a better job with the CGI. But the scene looked fake and even hilarious. Looks like they spent all the budget on huge sets and costumes.

2. Aabra Ka Daabra (2004)

Apart from being a complete Harry Potter rip-off, copying characters like Harry, Dumbledore, Hermione, and others, Aabra Ka Daabra was a terrible film. The movie had some horrible VFX scenes, with innumerable advertisements of Camel and Parle G. The audiences couldn’t wrap their heads around this cheap knockoff. The movie was ridiculous and the CGI was terrible.

3. Half Girlfriend (2017)

Apart from everything bad in this movie, including the writing, direction, and performances, its CGI shot of Bill Gates has to be the worst. The makers digitally superimposed the businessman’s face, and it turned out to be terrible. It looked fake and completely terrible in the movie. Maybe the makers didn’t even see the scene themselves before releasing the movie, because there is no way someone passed that scene.

4. Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani (2002)

The movie with arguably the worst VFX scenes in Bollywood is none other than the hilariously bad Jaani Dushman. 5. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003)

A cringe-fest from start to end, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon is one of the worst movies to ever grace the screens. It includes a CGI dog and parrot. The makers might have thought it would add a comic effect, but the audience did not think so. The movie contains tons of overacting and one of the worst scripts ever. The terrible VFX helps the movie in becoming even worse.

6. Rudraksh (2004)

Apart from a bizarre plot and cringe dialogues, Rudraksh had some of the worst CGI scenes in any Bollywood movie. The makers used green screens in many scenes, and the result was terrible. The movie had scenes of the computerized Himalayas, a hypnotic rat, multi-dimensional holograms, and Sunil Shetty in multiple roles. This movie gives some serious competition to Jaani Dushman in the race for the worst VFX.

The film’s crocodile scene was much hyped but disappointed the audience as they watched it. The crocodile appears out of nowhere and starts jumping here and there in the water.
