Cartoons – 90s V/S 2000s English Article

With the rapid development in the field of animations, the number of cartoons increased exponentially. All the way from Tom and Jerry to Chota Bheem, they have never ceased to entertain us. But with new and advanced cartoons, all we miss is those of the 90s, because somewhere we realize that the comic shows of 00s have some relation with the ones we had in 90s. On comparing the themes of some of the highly enjoyed 00s cartoons with 90s cartoons, we did find them to be similar to a great extent. Here are a few such 90s V/S 00s cartoons where the 90s shows are proved to be nothing but ancestors to the 00s'.

Based on the similar theme is the series - Oggy and the Cockroaches. Oggy, an anthropomorphic blue cat, prefers to spend his days lazily eating and chilling but the three roaches in the house namely, Joey, Dee-Dee, and Marky are determined to make Oggy’s life a living hell.

On the other hand, we have our own desi Chota Bheem and his friends in Dholakpur. Bheem and his friends generally protect Indravarma, the king of Dholakpur, and save the kingdom from the notorious goons and evil forces. Just as there was a tin full of Spinach for Popeye, Bheem has his share of energy boosting Ladoos.

Johnny Bravo- the Romeo of cartoons. He believes that all women want him. With his super-styled Quiff Hair and smart black clothes, he is bound to impress you with his charm, stylish attitude and karate chops. And now we have our master of flirt Shinchan who is an insane flirt even at the tender age kindergarten-age. He is no less than our dear Johnny when it comes to girls and cheesy one liner.
