Shivani Bhai Shivani Bhai is an actress, model and anchor/host >> Read More... is an Indian actress, model, and host, who is a recurring face in the south Indian film industry, having starred in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was born as Shivani Mohandas on 26th May 1988 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She belongs to the family of K.P. Nambiathiri, director of photography with more than sixty-five films to his credit. Shivani’s brother, Sambath Mohandas, is also a cinematographer.

Shivani completed her schooling from Navabharath Residential High School in Attingal, Kerala, and her graduation from Sun College of Engineering and Technology in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. She made her debut in cinema as a child artist in Rajiv Anchal’s Malayalam fantasy-thriller “ Guru Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (1997), starring Mohanlal. Eleven years later, she appeared in her first major supporting role as Ammu in “Annan Thambi” (2008), alongside Mammooty.

The movie was a box office success, and established Shivani as a proficient actor, following which she soon bagged her first role as a lead actress in K. Madhu’s “Rahasya Police” (2009). The actress is most widely recognized for her performance in Selva’s “Naanga” (2012), which is set around a group of friends who reunite after college.

The movie’s Tamil song “Adiye Potta Pulla”, which featured Shivani, is a public favorite to this day. Shivani’s other notable works include “China Town” (2011), “Aanandam Aarambham” (2012), “Ennum” (2017) and “Mythili Veendum Varunnu” (2017). In 2011, Shivani decided to continue her education and enrolled in the Alagappa University in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. She graduated with degrees in Bachelor of Arts (English Language and Literature) and Master of Business Administration (Tourism and Travel Service Management).

Shivani is a dedicated cricket fan. On 7th October 2011, she tied the knot with left-arm medium fast bowler Prasanth Parameswaran of Sunrisers Hyderabad. After marriage, she moved to the USA, where she was entitled as the Brand Ambassador of the America Youth Premier Cricket League (AYPCL) and the USA Global Sports Academy (USAGSA) in 2019 for her efforts in promoting cricket in the country. She handles the media and marketing sectors of the two organizations.

She currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her Parameswarn. And their five-year-old son, Ishan Puthra. Her latest movie “Issacinte Kadhakal” hit the theatres on 1st May 2019. It narrates the story of a US-based couple in their forties who are unable to conceive a child, and after four miscarriages, decide to search for a surrogate mother (played by Shivani) on advice of Dr. Issac.
