Swapna Rao is an Indian actress, model, fashion designer and entrepreneur. She founded the Swapna Rao Studio in 2016, an Indian ethnic apparel brand. Her photoshoots for the fashion line highlighted her skills as a model, kindling her journey in Tollywood.
She made her debut with a supporting role in Kovera’s action-thriller “U Kathe Hero” (2018). She played Meenakshi Nayar in the film, which revolves around a police investigation that begins as a minor case in the small village of Rudravaram but escalates to the discovery of the mystery behind an underworld. Swapna was lauded for her poignant performance though the movie itself grossed fairly at the box office.
