Madhavapeddi Suresh

Madhavapeddi Suresh is an Indian music composer who works prevalently in Telugu movies. He is a four-time Nandi Award winner, an accordion, Harmonium, and keyboard player. Post completing his school and college education, Madhavapeddi Suresh worked in Andhra Bank and LIC for some time. In December 1973, he moved to Chennai with big dreams and aspirations. He also used to accompany singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam for his abroad concerts. As time passed, Madhavapeddi Suresh became content being a keyboard player, but under director Jandhyala, he composed music for the first time in films. The 1989 movie Hai Hai Nayaka gave him recognition as a music director. On the whole, Madhavapeddi Suresh has composed music for over 60 films and played instruments for over 1000 songs for the last fifty of his career spans.

For his contribution to the Telugu cinema, he received Nandi Awards twice. After an excellent run-in film, Madhavapeddi Suresh started his career in television by being the first in-house director for ETV Telugu. For ETV Telugu, he has composed music for about seventy-five shows and appeared as a judge in various singing reality shows. Madhavapeddi Suresh also won two Nandi Awards for his work in serials and shows. Besides movies and television, he has also released about 100 private albums.
