Sujeeth is a wonder in the current filmmaking scenario in the whole Telugu film industry as he is one of the youngest filmmakers who is still in his twenties. After completing his higher secondary education, and his intermediate level education, he had made up his mind that he wanted to enter the field of filmmaking.
Sujeeth went on to enroll in college and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science. Later on, he joined a film training academy known as L V Prasad Film Institute where he obtained his Diploma in DFT. As a young filmmaking enthusiast, Sujeeth directed over 40 short films in his career.
His short films have been received well and also been acclaimed by many viewers and critics all over. After completing around a bunch of short film projects, Sujeeth was made aware of the fact that a popular production house was looking for fresh stories and new scripts. That is how Sujeeth found his way into his debut directorial venture.
In the year 2014, Sujeeth took on the role of director and made the film, ‘Run Raja Run’ with a name similar to one of his short films but with a minimal relationship between the scripts. The genre of Run Raja Run is a mixture of a bit of almost everything including romance, comedy, action, and drama. The film stars mainstream actors such as Sharwanand, who played the role of ‘Raja’,
Adivi Sesh who played the role of ‘Nayeem Basha’,
Seerat Kapoor who was cast in the role of ‘

Sujeeth Reddy is an actor, screenplay writer and a director in the Telugu film industry. He is a native of Anantapur and has been brought up in the city of Hyderabad. His father’s name is Gopinath. His brother is Vineeth who is currently in the United States.
He got his diploma from L.V. Prasad Film & TV Academy, in Chennai. His debut movie as a director garnered a lot of recognition and praise. He started making short films at the young age of 17. He made many short films for his college and further to improve his skills, before thinking of joining mainstream cinema.
His college films were made in a particular given time, budget as well as less number of cameras. Short films accustomed him to working in less conducive conditions. He was initially supposed to debut at the age of 22. He was refused the opportunity about a week before the commencement of the shooting. He made sure not to let this experience dishearten him, and he reverted to making more short films.
Till date, he has created around thirty-eight short films. Working on short projects enhanced his directorial potential and gave him a perspective of his profession. He claims even to have made a small audience for his film projects keenly waiting for his debut in mainstream cinema.
Soon, film producers Vamsi and Pramod recognized his talent and gave him his well-deserved opportunity, a four crore project, as his debut in the Telugu film industry. He made his first mainstream full feature film at the age of 24, Age was never a concern for Sujeeth, but he feels that it did matter to some other people like those in his production house.
He believes that the only necessary factor to join and succeed in the industry is passion and talent. Soon, those working with him on this dream project of his understood the kind of potential in him and supported him in his venture.
The movie called Run Raja Run, cast Sharwanand as per Sujeeth’s choice as he felt Sharwanand was a very underrated actor. He wished to present his acting potential through his movie. As far as the leading lady is concerned, Sujeeth went with a newcomer, Seerat as he believed that his script and story didn’t have the role for an established heroine to perform.
He wished to work with new actors to give them a chance to prove themselves. His biggest challenge was to make sure he delivers a level of performance as a director so that his cast and crew don't have to behave like they are working with a child.
His move Run Raja Run was a massive hit and received both public as well as critical acclaim. He was just 23 when he began filming it. He credits his skills of storytelling right back to his school days when he used to cook up stories to escape unwanted situations and somehow managed to make the other people fall for his story.
Further, he is all set to work on his next film, Saaho which casts the Baahubali star Prabhas with
Shraddha Kapoor. It also has
Neil Nitin Mukesh,
Mandira Bedi and
Jackie Shroff in its star cast.
