Kranthi Madhav is a film director who works in the Telugu film industry. In the initial days, Kranthi was not interested in making films. But during his Mass Communication’s Masters Course in Manipal University, he learned about the art of filmmaking. His professor A.F. Mathews taught him the art of filmmaking. After completing his studies, Kranthi left for Hyderabad. On reaching, he started trials but never worked under any other director. He was associated with 3-4 production houses, though. After narrating storylines to various actors, he thought of directing a film of his own.
This was when Onamalu occurred. Kranthi gets his inspiration from
, T.Krishna, and Balachander. He once said, ”Look around, the majority of the people fall in love, but not everybody enters wedlock with the person they love. And although marriages happen we witness many break-ups. True love happens to only a scant one per cent of people.” Kranthi lives in Australia with his wife, who teaches at the Victoria University, and his child. He flies down to India when he directs movies, and once the film is completed, he flies back.
