Appurv Gupta is a stand-up comedian. He was born on 20 May 1991 in New Delhi, India. He completed his schooling at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 2012, he attained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. However, his leaning was towards comedy. In 2009, he joined a Toasters Club in his college, in which he gave thousands of stage performances and management of events. After 2012, he focused his career on stand-up comedy. He did shows in renowned companies like Microsoft, Adobe, American Express, Airtel, HP, TataSky, SBI, HDFC, Kotak and many more.
Gupta performed in India’s top educational institutions such as IITs, NITs, and Delhi University. It was in 2014 when NDTV broadcasted his first solo show, The Rising Stars of Comedy, with Appurv Gupta. In 2014, CNN-IBN listed Gupta in the Top 20 Stand-Up Comics.
