Karaikudi Mani is an Indian vocalist who had worked predominately in the Tamil music industry. Mani was born on 11 September 1945 in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. His actual name was Ganapathy Subramanyam. He is a master in playing the classical instrument known as Mridangam. His father’s name was T. Ramanatha Iyer, and Pattammal was his mother.
