Ramesh Vijayan

Ramesh Vijayan is a sound effects editor working in the Tamil film industry. He also works on projects from other language film industries. He learned the craft of editing, designing, and engineering sound effects from Muzik Lounge School of Audio Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. he completed a Diploma of Education (D.Ed.) and practiced his skills with up-to-date professional tools and applications in sound design. From 2017, he worked as a sound engineer at Octave Studio, and later, followed by Prime Focus Technologies till 2019.

After this, he specialized as a sound effects editor at Sync Cinema, Chennai, a post-production company for audio in films and other media projects. He is known for designing sound effects for several blockbuster movies, such as Kaithi, released in 2019. The feature film was nominated for several awards for its technicalities, some of which it won as well. Ramesh Vijayan was also the sound effects editor for the popular Bollywood film Kabir Singh, a Hindi-language remake of Arjun Reddy.
