Anitha Kuppusamy is a famous Tamil folk singer as well as a television host. Anitha was born in Bangalore and raised in Mettupalayam. Music and singing always interested her since childhood and thus convinced her parents to let her pursue a career in music.

She completed her Bachelor's in Music at the Avinash Lingam College, Coimbatore, Andhra Pradesh, after which she joined the University of Madras, Chennai obtaining her Master's in Carnatic music.

Anitha met her future husband Pushpavanam Kuppusamy while pursuing her Masters. Both of them started singing together in several competitions and stage shows, eventually getting married. Pushpavanam, Anitha's husband taught her 'Nattupura Pattu' an age-old Tamil folk art. Thus together they revived it and started performing across India and as well as overseas.

The influential couple has performed over 3,000 concerts. Anitha is also a playback singer who has sung songs in the films such as Karisakattu Poove, Valli Vara Pora, etc.

Lavanya Sundararaman was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. Lavanya is the daughter of father Dr. R. Sundararaman and mother, Gayathri Sundararaman. She completed her schooling from Chennai. She got her both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Queen Mary’s College, Chennai in Music. He has also done a Ph.D. in music. Music lives in her every breath of her life. Lavanya is the great-granddaughter of great Carnatic music, namely D.K Pattammal and Palghat Mani Iyer. She started her music career officially in the year 2003. Lavanya performed on various TV shows. In the year 2000, she did an event with her great-grandmother D.K Pattammal and Lalitha Sivakumar. She was also with her Aunt Nithyashree Mahadevan and grandfather I. Sivakumar. Lavanya was first seen on screen on Jaya TV in the famous show The Ragamallika. She then attended a concert in Mangalam Ganapathy Trust in 2008. In the year 2009, she has featured in a Diwali show which has aired on Raj TV. In the same year, she also did concerts in various events named Triveni Sangaman and Vellithirai Ragangai. Lavanya was also seen in the TV show Airtel Super Singer Junior Season 2 on Vijay TV. Lavanya has also sung devotional songs for the Hindi industry like Sri Lavanya lahari, Karunai Deivame, Madurakali Ammanabd Triveni Sangaman as well. In the year 2011, Lavanya attended a concert in Mumbai. She also worked in The Theanamudhu program for almost three years on Makkal TV in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Lastly she has featured in the year 2015 on Jaya TV in the program Navaratri Nayagiyar. Till now Lavanya has achieved seventeen awards all in all. She got her first award in the year 1999 by Padma Sheshadri Bala Bhavan. Lavanya was honored by Bhagidhari award and Amuthagaanavani, both in the year 2011. She was singing since we were very young and also she wants to excel in it.
