Sharanya Srinivas

A girl with a big name and big dreams, Sharanya Srinivas was born on 3rd January 1991 in a Tamil family. Being the last name as Srinivas, music was in her blood. Grown up in a family of singers and musicians, she started to sing from early phases of her life. Knowing her talent and skills, she chose to be a singer after completing secondary education. Making a career in music as a vocalist she undertook many vocal courses under Henry Kuruvila where she underwent music production courses and making her voice melodic. After learning vocal skills, she took another course on music vocal from A. R. Rahmans KM Music Conservatory. When she knew she had sufficient skills in music vocals, she debuted her sweet voice with the song 'Adi Thaahira' alongside Sathya prakash.

The Tamil song was a showcase of Phani Kalyan's album “Konjam Koffee Konjam Kaadhal’’. Liking her melodic and sweet voice, A.R Rehman gave her another chance to sing in songs like Kalaarasiga and Kanaave Kanaave, which is the Tamil version of Bollywood film named Raanjhanaa. She then sang in her father's album for the movie Kangaroo and her name was related with Vijay prakash and Haricharan. Her career was booming at a great speed and she was winning many awards for her melodic voice for many films. Jayabalakrishnan also gave her chance in his movie panthu to sing two versatile songs, following the event in her life to sing a duet for Raja Mandhiri and Justin Prabhakar, who appraised her voice as a playback singer.

In her singing career, Sharanya worked with many famous music producers and composers like AR Rahman, who is one of a renowned personality in the music industry. Others include Imman, Sharreth, Santhosh Narayanan, Nivas Prasanna, Madley Blues and Justin Prabhakar. Sharanya performed and showcased her voice in more than 200 stages and also shared live stages with Srinivas, Naresh Iyer, Vijayprakash, Stephen Devassy and Haricharan. Sharanya's voice was not limited to the record label and big production houses. In 2016 Kozhai was released by an online portal named Doopadoo. The single was well plotted and the people appreciated the work of Sharanya. Being Madan karky as the lyrist and Srinivas being the music producer, the single gained a fair attraction of the audience. In the present, Sharanya is touring for music performance and live stages and her voice is being appraised and loved by her audience.
