She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father’s name is Yogesh D Thakur, and her mother’s name is Padma Yogesh Thakur. Sneha has an elder brother whose name is Gautam Thakur and a younger brother whose name is Mayur Thakur. Her elder brother Gautam Thakur is an Assistant Director in Bollywood and a VFX artist. Her younger brother Mayur is a businessman. Sneha always dreamt of a great actress.
She started her professional career as a model. Initially, she worked for a few ad shoots and some TV Commercials. She got a role in the Hindi feature film Lajjo by Mithilesh Avinash. She also worked in the film Married 2 America which had its release in the year 2012. She later worked as an actress in a few Theatre plays due to lack of movie offers.
