Manimala is a professional Indian film actress. She preferably works in the Tamil movie industry. Manimala started her career in the year 1961. She started her acting life with the movie Police Karan Magal, in the year 1962. Her third debut was Panakkara Kudumbam, in the year 1964. In the next year 1966, she enacted in Motor Sundaram Pillai. Then in the year 1967, Manimala got three films namely, Ethirigal Jakkirathai (as Lakshmi), Paal Manam, and Karpooram. She has appeared in three more movies in the year 1970, which were Nilave Nee Satchi, Kalyana Oorvalam, and Patham Pasali. Justice Viswanathan was the movie in the year 1971, Justice Viswanathan (as Kanchana). Then she did Unakkaga Naa, Kavari Maan, Samayapurathu Satchi, Anbulla Rajinikanth, Sindhu Bhairavi Sindhu's mother, and Rickshaw Mama in the years 1976, 1979, 1983, 1984, 1985, and 1992. Manimala also debuted in Telugu films like Eedu Jodu (1963), Athalu Kodallu (1971), Basti Bulbul (1971), and Andala Ramudu (1973) as Raani.
