Bankrolled by SS Film Factory, the movie centers around three characters with the titular names, Charles, a wannabe cricketer, Karthiga, and Shafiq. Charles wishes to join the IPL team Chennai Super Kings but abandons his desire for the sake of Karthiga.
The two get estranged for some time due to a misunderstanding caused by Charles’s mother. On the other hand, Shafiq tries to smuggle diamonds but is tracked by the police. To save himself, he gives Karthiga, a family friend travelling to Chennai, the custody of diamonds.
