Manikandan is a film actor, who was born on 29th November, 1980. He is a Tamil film actor. He has completed his graduation in visual communication. He was a member of Kala’s dance troupe and used to perform live stage shows on various parts of country. He gave Audition for movie ‘Boys’ which was directed by Shankar and was his coming- of- age film. Shankar was impressed by Manikandan’s audition and he offered him the role.
Manikandan dances well and can also imitate other artists. This talent of him garnered him a role in Boys. And to act in director Shankar's film in his flrst flick itself is a great thing for an actor. Manivannan had acted in films like Kadhal FM and Kicha Vayasu 16 after Boys but they didn't give him the needed recognition. Manikandan has yet to gain a strong foothold in Kollywood.
