T.S. Suresh is also known as Suresh Sathyanarayan or Tirupattur Sathyanarayan Suresh. He was born on July 1, 1986. He is 30 years old. His birthplace is Vellore located in Tamil Nadu, India. But his current residence is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India due to his profession. He started his career in the year 2004.
By profession, he is a Film editor who mainly works for South Indian Film Industry. He is famous for working in various languages namely English, Tami, Hindi, Malayalam, etc. and does editing majorly in these languages only. He was quite appreciated for his work with famous and experienced South Indian Filmmaker named Santosh Sivan and is highly acclaimed for that. He spent his childhood in his hometown with his friends and family. He did his graduation from the University Of Madras in the field of visual communication.
He had no plan entering the South Indian Film Industry and wanted to do something else. While he was interning with famous South Indian Film Editor Anthony, his interest grew in this field, and then he learned the skill of Film Editing from Anthony in several languages (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and English). He learned to edit in four years that is from 2005 to 2009 and assisted and helped him in the projects like “Vettaiyudu Vilaiyadu,” “Poi Solla Porom,” “Kireedam,” “Pachaikili Muthucharam,” and he also worked for the Hindi version of “Ghajini” starring perfectionist Aamir Khan and Asin.
He worked in a team of 12 assistants at that time. His first ever individual venture was for the movie named “Thamizh Padam” released in the year 2010 in the Tamil Language. The movie was produced by film producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri and directed by director C. S. Amudhan. The film was quite a big hit, and his worked was liked by the critics. After he had started working individually, with progress day by day, he formed a team of 6 assistants and expanded his work. He worked on the ventures like “Vaalu,” “Irumbu Kuthirai,” and “Renda Vathu Padam.”
About working with Anthony, he says that he used to guide him at every step. He used to say that it is important to observe more and also used to advice that there is no need of dragging a scene, it should be concise and crisp. His idol, whom he follows a lot, is Sreekar Prasad, for whom he waited for six months to meet. Also, he believes that his team is his best critics so after editing every scene, his team along with him always has a very healthy discussion about it.
