Srinath Ramalingam is a famous Sri Lankan born Tamil filmmaker. He was born in Sri Lanka in the year 1987. He grew up in Florida where he got graduated with a degree in Film and Digital Production at the Full Sail University. Srinath got interested in movies when he was studying in high school. In those days he used to take part in school plays and win a lot of competitions which encouraged him to take it to the next step. Many of his teachers and mentors from his college were a great help in the early stages of his career. They gave Ramalingam an opportunity to handle some of the departments of the Tamil Literary Association.

In the year 2005, while he was still in his position he did a lot of short films in and around Columbia. His biggest victory was when he and his entire crew won one of the competitions held by the Royal College where they fetched the "Best Director" award and a couple of similar awards. After completing almost 25 stage plays and 12 short films, he decided to take his career to the next level- filmmaking. Though it seemed to be a hobby for the director since his childhood, he thought of making it a reality.

As Srinath both negative and positive reviews equally about his decision he followed his heart and continued to do what seemed best for him. So he went to The United States to do a course on filmmaking. After returning, the director made his first music video Y.O.L.O which was an inspiring one and based on Lord Shiva. In the year 2015, Srinath made two films out of which one was a horror motion picture " Unakkenna Venum Sollu Click to look into! >> Read More... " starring newcomers and the other one was "Trapped in Abyss" which was his debut Hollywood movie and it was also entirely shot in California. Then came 'PPadi Kuppam Baalua' and after that " Laya On 29th January 2010, Yellow Media Production rele >> Read More... " which is a light-hearted entertainer describing the story of a father narrating his story to his daughter about how he met her mother and fell in love with her.

When he was asked in an interview on why all his films were the " thriller" ones he replied saying that he just loved the horror genre and moreover the people of this generation find horror flicks really amusing! Ramalingam's upcoming venture is named Mujahid, and the story is about a terrorist who is found guilty after attacking an important country and regrets for his deeds. It a complete suspense thriller movie which will keep the audiences on their feet.
