R V Udayakumar

R V Udayakumar is a prominent Indian director, actor, and lyricist. He predominantly belongs to the Tamil film industry, also known as the Kollywood film industry. He was born in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. His father’s name is Venkatasamy and his mother’s name is Kannammal. He was born into an agricultural family. He studied at the Government Arts and Science College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Afterwards, he got his diploma in direction from the Madras Film Institute. He was married to Sujatha and blessed with a child named Bhumika.

He started his career as an associate director for the films including, Neram Vandhachu, Janani, Oomai Vizhigal, and more.
