. He was an Indian Director, screenwriter and producer. His multi-talented ways are often depicted through his work. He was best known for Amir Garib (1974), Aas Ka Panchhi (1961), and Aap Ayee Bahar Ayee (1971). One of his most notable works was for Avtar, which was released in 1983. He was nominated in the Filmfare thrice for that job. This just goes to further proof of how influential his work was. He died on 10th of November, 2017 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
