Lakshman is an Indian Film Distributor and Director. Initially, Lakshman was a Film Distributor. He started distributing with the film New (2004) by S. J. Surya. He became a successful distributor for the film. He had plans to produce a film with S. J. Surya as the protagonist, Nayanathara, and Shradha Arya as the female leads and the film was to be directed by Selvaraghavan.
But for unknown reasons, the film got shelved. He then stood away from the Film Industry for a while. After many years he announced that he would be making his Directorial Debut with the film Romeo and Juliet starring
