C. Sivakumar was a diligent Tamil director and screenwriter, who had a keen interest in filmmaking and storytelling from a young age. Through his stories, he majorly focused on character development and the emotions of a person. During his initial years in the industry, he struggled a lot. Initially, he worked as an assistant with legendary Director-actor K Bhagyaraj while later on, he produced his own films. Sivakumar was not a very renowned director in the Kollywood industry. However, he had made a substantial impact on society and gained many loyal followers and colleagues. On 2 August 2018, at his apartment in Saligramam, Chennai he was found dead. Police investigation claims that his body was found in a decomposed state, and he had a cardiac arrest which was the cause of his death.
