Williams DOP

Even successful person starts their journey somewhere, and for George Williams, his road to success started during his school days. George Williams or more commonly known as William DOP, is an Indian Cinematographer.

He was born in Chennai. As a young boy, William was passionate about lightning, camera, angles, and framing.

He was introduced to the world of cinematography by a family friend who got him the job as an assistant to Nirav Shah.

As his assistant he helped in filming movies like ‘ Billa Click to look into! >> Read More... ’(2007), ‘Sauram’(2009). He also worked under Arjun Jena Arjun Jena is a well-known Indian cinematographer. >> Read More... in a Telugu film- ‘Alamadaindi’(2011). George the signed AR Murugadoss with whom he was the lead cinematographer of the film, ‘ Raja Rani Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ which was released in the year 2015.

He was also the lead cinematographer in the movie ‘ Kaththi Click to look into! >> Read More... ’(2014). Both the movies brought George a lot of fame and hence he became one of the most sorted cinematographers of the Tamil Film Industry.

With George’s eye for details, a mind for fast invention, and strong technical knowledge of cameras, William DOP became a renowned cinematographer. He has currently also signed for various Malayalam and Telugu films.
